Listening to the radio yesterday I heard that Aquafina and other major bottled water companies had been revealed about there water sources. Aquafina which many people had believed, along with me, that it came from a aquifer. Actually it is filtered tap water. As I understand it Aquafina is forced to change their name to P.W.S., Public Water Source. Normally I wouldn’t of cared about this but my father works for Budweiser and Pepsi since Pepsi is the distributor of Aquafina it drew my attention. Many bottled water companies and such have been "Coming out of the closet" about were there water comes from. Many people don't believe this is a big deal and some do. Debate.
P.S. if you want to find good none tap water try Chippewa. -------------------- |

For example: I think that having to leave the field to get a drink from the lockerroom sink isn't realistic for pro football players. Same with long distance runners.
Obviously, they could have bottles filled with tap water (some do), but as you rightly assumed, I was also considering the beneficial additives (most notably sodium, calcium, chloride, and sometimes potassium - chemicals that replenish human electrolyte levels) that all factory bottled water used to contain. Since the mass-production of the past 15 years or so, bottled water with added minerals is still around, but it's comparitively rare. |
